10 day Mind, Body and Soul Challenge
"The 10 day mind, body and soul challenge changed my life and the way I feel about my body. I used to feel about my figure and always thought 'it's too fat here, it's too flat there' and I wanted to look like the Victoria's Secret Models :D Now I'm happy with my body and so proud of all the muscles I gained and I like the way it looks. And of course I feel healthy and trained. Another awesome side effect is that my 10 day challenge affected the people around me. My friends and family asked me why I was doing it because to them it seemed unnecessary since I am not overweight. But when I told them that I wanted to change my life to the better and that I wanted to be more active and healthier, they were impressed. So I got lots of compliments and I got my boyfriend off the couch - we are now jogging together twice a week for 5 km (about 3 miles). Thank you, Annie! You changed my life for the better just by offering this online program and by being such a great motivation."

So…my name is Tally and I am a recent college graduate trying to find my way in life. During college, I gained a bit of weight and never really tried to do anything about it. I was in a relationship, I was doing well in school and I thought my life was going well. I graduated and moved to Dallas to pursue a career in television production. Through my career choice, I met the one and only, Annie Malaythong, who changed my life, whether I wanted her to or not. She was a trainer on a TV show I was working on and I would sit and watch her training methods during film days. I was amazed as to how she had so much spunk and energy about her. I was a first-hand witness as to how the lives of her clients were changing, and changing quickly. From the nutrition plan Annie would hand out (as if it were Halloween candy), to the hardcore workouts she would put these people through, I thought to myself, there is no way I would ever be able to follow this routine for the rest of my life.
Throughout the summer, I watched closely and ended up becoming great friends with Annie. For some reason or another, this girl was placed in my life for a reason and I didn’t know why, until recently. After filming, I ended up spending quite a bit of time one-on-one with her. I watched how she ate; I got into her routine of exercising (which could be a TV show in itself) and understood her methodical ways of living. Annie is VERY organized and would tell me what to eat and when…what time to work out and what I muscle groups I should be focusing on, amongst many other things. I was nervous to start this “journey” with her, but after a week, it became my routine. I slip up every now and again (as does she…don’t think she’s perfect!), but I always seem to find my way back. I’ll skip the gym for a day or two and wonder why I feel so lethargic. I get my ass up and I get myself to the gym and I find my energy for the day.
As much as I thought this kind of “lifestyle” would consume me, it has helped me become more aware of the things I am putting in my body and what the reciprocations will be after I eat something. The healthier I eat, the better I feel! I have lost about 15 pounds in 2 months and while that might seem minuscule to some, it is a start to a healthy life for me. I look forward to doing great things in my life and I know Annie will ALWAYS be right beside me. I can’t say “thank you” enough to her for what she’s done. She’s changed my life and I will forever be indebted to her. Give her a chance. She’ll change yours if you let her!
