My Why
Annie Malaythong is all about motivating her clients to reach their full potential and producing serious results. A former pole vaulter once competing to represent the country of Laos in 2008 Olympics, she naturally fell in love with helping others to reach their full potential in mind, body and soul. Her passion and thrill for helping others comes from an innate desire to never have anyone experience what she was faced as a teen and once again in her college athletic career. Having the ability of walking normal taken away from her and her athletic career come to a halt, she experienced pain in several different ways. Annie not only dealt with physical pain, but the emotional pain of gaining weight and feeling alone and disregarded from the world. Annie learned at a very young age how to overcome obstacles. She has worked strategically through the natural hardships of life to creating her own style in training the human body with the studies of physical therapy , corrective exercise and fitness nutrition coaching.
As a fitness business owner of Fitness Studio 108 in Atlanta , GA, mom and International presenter. Annie is always focused on raising the bar in professional life by continually expanding her expertise and business through education. Annie has touched the lives of so many people through her drive and motivational attitude. Annie is a featured trainer on MTV's "I Used To Be Fat", which is a documentary that follows overweight teens in their journey to losing 60-100 lbs in the course of a summer before going off to college. She is nowhere close to stopping, nor will her passion for helping others.
